Tap to Pay is part of the Glamorph client workflow, not a disconnected card-reader app. Start from a client or appointment, collect in person, and keep the confirmed payment alongside the relevant payment history.

Provider-backed payments join the Glamorph payment ledger after confirmation, so they can contribute to revenue history and payment reporting. Glamorph does not become an accounting, invoicing, or fiscal receipt system.

A supported merchant account
Your connected payment account, business location, and payment currency must be eligible for in-person payments.
A compatible Android phone
The phone needs Android 13 or later, built-in NFC, Google Play services, and an unmodified secure operating system.
A stable internet connection
Tap to Pay is an online payment flow. Manual payment recording remains available separately when you are offline.
A live device check
Recent security updates, NFC, device integrity, and other payment-security requirements are checked before collection.
How Tap to Pay works inside Glamorph
- 1Open a client or appointment and choose Collect payment.
- 2Choose Tap to Pay and confirm the amount on your Android phone.
- 3Hand the tap moment to your client so they can hold a contactless card or digital wallet near the phone.
- 4After the payment is confirmed, Glamorph connects it to the selected client and appointment when applicable.
Transparent payment costs
Integrated collection and manual payment tracking have different costs. Glamorph shows the distinction before you collect.
Glamorph fee for integrated collection: 0.5%
Charged on each successful payment collected through Glamorph's Stripe integration. This fee is separate from your Glamorph subscription.
Stripe processing fees
Stripe charges its own fees separately. Rates vary by merchant country, payment method, and account terms.

A phone card reader, not a full fiscal POS
Tap to Pay lets your compatible phone accept an in-person contactless payment inside Glamorph. It does not turn Glamorph into inventory software, a cash register, an invoicing system, or a tax-compliant fiscal receipt system.

Do I need a separate card reader?+
No. On an eligible Android phone, the phone itself accepts the contactless tap. You do not pair a separate physical card reader for this Glamorph flow.
Which Android phones work with Tap to Pay?+
The phone must meet the current payment-device requirements, including Android 13 or later, built-in NFC, Google Play services, recent security updates, a secure unmodified OS, and a stable internet connection. Glamorph checks the device before collection.
Is Tap to Pay available on iPhone?+
Not publicly in Glamorph yet. iPhone support is coming soon after the required platform approval and production verification. The Android release is separate.
Can a client tap a card or a digital wallet?+
Eligible contactless cards and NFC-based mobile wallets can be accepted. Exact card brands, wallet support, and verification requirements can vary by country and issuer.
How much does Tap to Pay cost in Glamorph?+
Glamorph charges 0.5% on each successful integrated payment. Stripe processing fees apply separately according to the merchant country and account terms. Manually recorded payments have no Glamorph transaction fee.
Does Tap to Pay work offline?+
No. A stable internet connection is required for account checks, secure collection, and payment confirmation. Glamorph's separate manual payment recording can still be used offline.
Is Glamorph a POS or invoicing system?+
Glamorph accepts eligible contactless payments on the phone and keeps confirmed payments with client records. It is not currently a fiscal POS, inventory system, cash register, invoicing system, or tax receipt system.
